Composer Visits Iceland

Gerald Shapiro, Professor of Music at Brown University, recently visited Iceland where he attended the performance of his Quartet for Saxophones by the Iceland Saxophone Quartet. The performance took place at Salurinn in Kopavogur. Mr. Shapiro has composed more than 60 pieces of music that are performed regularly on both sides of the Atlantic.
