  • Gerald Shapiro Composer Gerald Shapiro Visits Iceland

    Composer and Professor of Music at Brown University Gerald Shapiro was recently in Iceland. Mr. Shapiro was invited to attend a performance by the Icelandic saxophone quartet of a piece he composed. While in Iceland Mr. Shapiro attended a reception hosted by Charge d'Affaires a.i. Sam Watson at the US Embassy.

    The Department of State announces the opening of the registration period for the DV-2011 Diversity Visa lottery. The annual DV program makes visas available to persons meeting simple, but strict, eligibility requirements. A computer-generated, random lottery drawing chooses selectees for DVs.
