American/Icelandic Franchise Event 2007
Charge d’Affaires Neil Klopfenstein opened a seminar on franchises in Iceland on Thursday, Septembr 20. The event was sponsored by the U.S. Embassy, the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Icelandic Federation of Trade and Services and the Innovation Institute.
Featured speakers included Emil Karlsson, Icelandic expert and author on franchises, Stephane Croigny, a Department of Commerce advisor on franchising, and successful franchise holders in Iceland for Quiznos and Remax. Attendees learned about the basics of franchises and the different possibilities for franchises in Iceland.
