State Department Launches Youth Webpage

 

The State Department has developed a new Web page highlighting publications suitable for younger audiences. The Web page is titled "Student Corner" and it can be accessed at: http://www.america.gov/publications/ejournalusa/0606.html

"Student Corner" leads off with "USA History in Brief,"the first title in the new "In Brief" print publicationseries for younger audiences (secondary education and up).Four other publications -- two eJournals USA ("SnapshotUSA" and "College and University Education in the U.S.")and two print ones ("How the U.S. Is Governed" and "Womenof Influence")-- are also listed as helpful guidesfor students.

The page offers links to additional IIP publications and eJournals, under the sections "Facts," "Feelings," "Ideas," and "Stories." "Student Corner" will be updated as additional eJournals, "In Brief," and other electronic publications are published.
