Dr. Carol van Voorst Takes Oath of Office as Ambassador to Iceland
In a January 3 ceremony at the Department of State in Washington, Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice swore in Dr. Carol van Voorst as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of Iceland.
Ambassador van Voorst will arrive in Reykjavik in early January to take up her duties.
